My name is Harriet. I’m a Laughtercise Facilitator of Fun. It’s great to have you here!
If you have some reservations about booking a Laughtercise session, I’m actually quite happy. We’re pretty ‘out there’ so we think it’s quite natural for people to feel like this.
It means A. you’re getting yourself and your team/hen crew outside of your comfort zone and B. you have genuine care for your team/hen crew and want the best from them.
At this point I want to state that a Laughtercise session is not for every group. We’ve designed our sessions for groups who want maximum fun. For groups who want the thrill of competition! For groups who want to get outside of their comfort zone 👇
We have had the pleasure of organising sessions with some wonderful people all over the UK. We’ve built some wonderful relationships 👇
Some of these relationships started with conversations about concerns that the organiser had about booking Laughtercise (so you’re not alone!).
Here are two frequently asked questions people ask us before they book:
My team/hen crew has many introverts, will they enjoy the session?
Our sessions are designed to get groups smiling and giggling as much as possible. Many introverts will be petrified of laughing and smiling in front of a large group and having the spotlight shone on them! But, introverts…take a deep breath. We’ve built our sessions specifically with you in mind!
Most of our session content is done collectively as a group. This means no single person has the spotlight on them. The only time we shine the spotlight is when we’ve figured out who the extroverts are (they love a bit of attention!) 😁
Below are two of our activities. Check out how everyone is doing them at the same time 👇
We have yet to deliver a session where we’ve thought ‘that group were too introverted for our sessions’. But, if you’re deeply worried about how introverted your group are, and it’s keeping you up at night, it might be wiser to pick a ‘safer’ activity.
Will my group find the competition too much?
If there is one picture that sums up the elation of winning and the disappointment of defeat within a Laughtercise session, it’s this picture from our ‘head, shoulders, knees, CUP’ game 👇
We believe that fun and hearty competition is brilliant for bonding people. There is winning in a Laughtercise session. There is losing. Importantly, it’s the taking part that counts. But a Laughtercise session demands everyone to have a competitive snarl as they take part!
When we first started playing our ‘head, shoulders, knees, CUP’ game we were worried that some groups wouldn’t like the wild competition it requires. We thought we would have to tone it down.
We have never, ever had to tone it down.
If anything, we’ve had to tone it up!
I mean, just look at the competitive focus when groups are battling it out for Cadbury’s Crème Eggs 👇
What have we learnt from all the groups we’ve delivered sessions for?
Never underestimate how much people love competition (even if they don’t admit it!) 😁
So… how you feeling now? Reservations resolved?
If so, and we haven’t scared you off, it’s time to get you all ⚡ ‘Laughtercised’ ⚡
